As the current Director of Ingram Spark, Robin leads the Content Groups platform development to serve independent publishers around the world. She is committed to helping those publishers easily get their content into hands of readers wherever they are.
With a career that spans Thirty years from University Publishing to Vendor Manager for Amazon/Create Space as well as starting her own company along the way, she has accumulated a broad knowledge of the publishing world. She is a recognized expert in content creation and distribution, on-demand models, marketing and author strategies, and is here to share that expertise with us.
- Afternoon Keynote: "The Simplicities of Self-Publishing"
In her Keynote presentation, Robin will take you through the
simplicities of publishing with Ingram Spark, and reveal the differences
between them and Create Space, particularly as it pertains to the
distribution of your work. She will disclose how to get the most out of
your affiliation with them, and give you a thorough understanding of how to
utilize the POD process. It won't all be lecture as there will be ample
time for a Q&A session for you can take advantage of this unique
opportunity, and privilege, to spend an hour with a person who has such a
broad knowledge of indie publishing.
David VanDyke , is a Hugo Award finalist and bestselling author of the Plague Wars
and Stellar Conquest science fiction series, which have sold more than 300,000
copies to date. He is a co-author of BV Larson's million-selling Star Force Series.
He also writes P. I. mysteries under the pen name D. D. VanDyke. He's a retired
U.S. military officer, veteran of two branches of the armed forces. He lives with
his wife and dogs near Tucson, Arizona.
David self-published his first book as an independent author in 2012, through
Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing. He now has 26 books published across a
number of different vendors including Smashwords, Apple, Amazon, Nook, Kobo
and Google, and has participated in several additional anthologies and box sets. He
recently sold the print-only rights for his science fiction to a small publisher, and so
now counts himself as a hybrid author as well as an "indie." He's had all of his
books professionally narrated and turned into audiobooks, and is in the process of
having many of the books translated into the German language.

to drive my sales, keep my fans happy, and make a living doing it."
