* SSA will provide two full conference scholarships. Winners will be selected from those who submit an essay of no more than 500 words on "Why I Love to Write." Send essay with your registration form--must be postmarked by Sept. 1--winners will be notified shortly thereafter.
* Full-time English, literature, and writing teachers can receive a discount of $75. Write your school name and address, subjects taught, and grade levels on a separate sheet--include with registration form.
